In addition to the rules given at 'R' and 'A' St.Andrew's and USGA Golf Rules,the following local rules will also be applicable.

1.Preferred Lie:Permitted in Only Fairways:

• One foot with club head.
• Lie and degree of difficulty will not be improved.
• Ball will be moved away and not closer to the approaching green.
• In case of doubt, opponents will be consulted.

2.Free Drop:Permissiable when ball lies:

• In flower beds
• On road/foot tracks/stony patches
• Along the Perimeter Fence. Before using this privilege, opponents must be informed and drop to be taken away from the approaching green

3.Ball Close to Perimeter/Security Fence

• If the ball is close to the fence wherein normal swing is not feasible, after informing opponents, players may take a drop maximum two club lengths from the fence remaining away from the approaching green. Thereafter play as per Para 1 if preferred lie is permitted or observe rules as per Para 4 if the player is in the rough.

4.Rough:Privilegeof preferred lie will not be avaliable in the Rough.

• Areas Marked with yellow tiny flags/white lines which fall outside fairways.
• Areas Marked with yellow tiny flags/white lines.
• Areas demarcated as green bunkers.
• Areas behind pond for Green Nos 3 &12.
• Areas behind Bridge/Nallah for Green Nos 5 & 6 either way. 
• Area short of road for Green Nos 7 & 9.
• Areas before the qualifying mark of fairways as and when indicated.

5.Hazard: penalty as per St.Andrews & USGA Golf Rules

• Areas are : Water Ponds and Grass Bunkers(if the ball is unplayable due to proximity of fence,drop is permitted)

6.Out of Bounds: Penalty as per St.Andrews/USGA Golf Rules

Areas are:

• Area of Pavilion (Marked in Red Colour)
• All areas outside Perimeter/Security Fence
• Road for hole Nos 5 and 14

7.Replay Shot

Direct Hit to a Horizontal wire or a pole excluding security fencing will be played from the same position without penalty.

8.Vertical Banks around Green

Ball may be moved maximum of two club lengths away from the pin after intimating the opponents. Subsequent procedure to play will be as per rules 1 or 4 as applicable.
